I like Chestnut House because I am treated very nicely, the help will always be there if I need them. The food is very good. The activity director does a great job of always finding things to do. I am allowed to go for a stroll if I want, and I sign out so they know where I'm going. Our maintenance man does a great job, always willing to fix any problems if I have any.

This is a loving environment of caring residents to live with. Everyone enjoys playing games and having conversations with each other. It has been a joy to make new friends during my first year with other in-house residents. We have monthly outings for lunch and brunch at area restaurants. We appreciate the care we receive from the caring staff. This is my first assisted living facility to live in. After 40 years of working, I am happy to be retired and make a new circle of friends here at Chestnut House. It is great not having to prepare lunch and supper for myself as I did when I lived in my own home, but I was working and employed at that stage of my life. It will take more years to fully adjust to true retirement life, I feel. Otherwise my life is full.

I am proud to be part of a team that truly strives to provide excellent care in an environment that is fun, filled with laughter and love. Most days it doesn's feel like work. It feels like a home filled with freinds, family, and love.
