It is very common for caregivers to wonder what assisted living is like on a daily basis for their loved ones. Sometimes in memory care communities, it’s assumed that patients with dementia are withdrawn and all they do is eat, sit around, and sleep. This couldn’t be farther from the truth. Enlivant focuses on providing each resident with a routine of engaging activities to keep them involved and feeling purposeful.

In this video, dementia care expert Rachael Wonderlin describes a typical day at an Enlivant memory care community, which includes everything from arts and crafts, physical exercise, music, and much more.
