Deidre Hasel, Life Enrichment Coordinator at Cardinal Place in Cambridge, OH is the recipient of the prestigious Ohio Assisted Living Association’s (OALA) Honoring Excellence award.

This award is given annually to outstanding employees that demonstrate vision, innovation, leadership and compassion in their role by OALA, representing over 530 licensed Assisted Living Communities.

Deidre won the award as Outstanding Activities / Life Enrichment Coordinator. Diedre represents the values the Ohio Assisted Living Association looks for in Honoring Excellence nominees.

"Deidre's activity program goes far above traditional activities. Outings to restaurants, shopping, singers, bands, dancers, and even a fire breathing guest; our activities are like Deidre, upbeat and stimulating,” said Rich Stevens, Executive Director at Cardinal Place. "She always makes time to do the extras for her residents to make their worlds and life a happier place. She is one of the friendliest people I know."

Winners of the award are nominated by their community and selected by a committee of the Ohio Assisted Living Association Board of Trustees.
