Jasmine Place Assisted Living Community

I am very satisfied and content living at Jasmine House. I am very glad I made the decision to move here. Everyone treats me so wonderfully. Prior to moving into Jasmine Place, I lived alone in my own home with a big house and big yard, but I had to do everything myself. Life is a lot easier now, as I have help. I have a nice sized apartment and the staff help me help with cooking, cleaning, changing my bed linens, and laundry. The food is so much better than when I lived alone and had to cook for myself all the time. I can be alone in my apartment, but when I want to be with others I can participate in activities. I like talking to people and getting to know about them and their history. There are activities planned for us and I participate in a lot of them. I love bingo, Wii Bowling, and making crafts and flower arrangements.

I am proud to be part of a team that truly strives to provide excellent care in an environment that is fun, filled with laughter and love. Most days it doesn't feel like work. It feels like a home filled with friends, family, and love.

There are many changes that come with getting older. Living alone in my own house was difficult, so my granddaughter started looking for a place for me so I would not be alone. I have met many friends since moving into Jasmine Place. I enjoy many activities here, especially bingo and playing games on the computers in the library. I still go out with my friends to play bingo, too. The staff is very caring here. They have a lot to do to take care of all of us, but they are friendly and helpful.
