Protecting our Seniors
June 8, 2020
To our Enlivant Family:
I want to extend my sincere gratitude to all of you for your continued compassion and patience as we have worked hand-in-hand over the last several months to navigate these truly unprecedented times. Social distancing has kept us all apart from our loved ones as we work together to flatten the curve and keep everyone healthy and safe. We recognize that the changes and sacrifices we have all had to make are difficult and at times, frustrating. We also recognize that this has been especially difficult for our seniors and their families, as community is at the heart of everything we do, from shared meals, programs and activities, to simply being together with friends and loved ones in and around the communities.
Our team members have done a phenomenal job rising to the occasion to care for our residents while meeting an ever-expanding list of obligations at home, and for that, we are incredibly grateful. To support their commitment, we have worked tirelessly to provide the equipment and resources they need to keep everyone safe. But providing exceptional care has been an ongoing challenge as the nation continues to face shortages of protective equipment and a lack of testing. We all know how critically important these are to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Today, I am asking for your support in a collective effort to send 500,000 letters to Congress sharing how senior living communities are coping with the virus and urging lawmakers to prioritize our communities for protective equipment, tests and the resources we need to continue providing exceptional care.
To make this easy for you, we have partnered with one of our national industry associations, Argentum, who is dedicated to supporting senior living communities like ours. Through their website, writing to Congress takes less than a minute by using the links below.
I am hoping that we can count on you to partner with us in Protecting Our Seniors.
